Abstract
A modified variant of the harmonic balance method is presented, which uses the presence of a small parameter in nonlinear, non-autonomous differential equations. It is applicable in the telecommunications and the power engineering. The two variants of search for nonresonant and resonant solution are considered. The method is demonstrated by several examples representing each of the typical cases.
