Abstract

To optimize the expenditure of time and material resources, the Method of modifications is used. Modular design of a family of modifications allows combining complexes of components to expand the transport capabilities of aircraft, meet the requirements of air transport more accurately, maximize unification, create a range of aircraft. The modification method makes it possible to reduce time and material resources in solving aircraft design problems. And the principle of decomposition makes it possible to identify independent units and systems from which new aircraft modifications can be assembled. Models are formalized. Software and information support is developed on their basis.
