AbstractThe construction of a new double‐track steel railway arch bridge over the Elbe river, which replaced the original single‐track bridge from 1966, has significantly increased the capacity, speed, and smoothness of railway traffic in Pardubice. This 140‐meter‐long, three‐span bridge was realized as part of the modernization and double‐tracking of the Pardubice ‐ Hradec Králové line between 2021‐2024.
