Abstract
The relevance of this article related to the changes in the relationship between China and the United States in the economic and humanitarian spheres. Its analysis allowed the authors of the article to identify the relationship between the strategies of Washington and Beijing with the main areas of their economic cooperation. In addition, the article analyzes the reasons for the decline in their humanitarian cooperation. Despite these negative factors in the relations between the United States and China, they are still linked by complex interdependence, which determines the development of economic and humanitarian spheres of their interaction in those areas that are most beneficial to both actors.
