Abstract
The modern world views include lymphadenectomy as a therapeutic procedure that is an integral part of radical surgery of stomach cancer. It is performed in an attempt to make the malignant surgery more radical. The aim of any surgical procedure is complete removal of the tumor and any tissues that may be affected by it. The pursuit of radical surgery in the eradication of malignant disease, a lymphadenectomy significantly contributes to this aim. The lympadenetomy in gastric cancer involves lymph node dissection first, second group, which is considered the standard D2 lymphadenectomy. In addition to surgical therapy of gastric cancer, which remains dominanatan, lately developing new modalities of treatment of stomach. Besides highlighting the fore the importance of surgical treatment and systemic lymphadenectomy, the criteria provided by the Japanese Association of gastric cancer than 2010g. knows and other modalities of treatment of gastric cancer. Gastric cancer can be treated: endoscopic, laparoscopic, conventional surgical resection surgery, chemotherapy (which may be the preoperative and postoperative) and palliative surgery. Each of these modalities of treatment influenced the better outcome of patients. The choice of patient treatment with gastric cancer depends on the degree of malignancy.
