Abstract

The analysis of theoretical provisions on subculture development among senior preschoolers revealed the basic concepts of research (information environment, information subculture). It is noted that a modern child develops and grows in an informational, postindustrial society. It is proved that senior preschoolers in the information subculture know and understand the significance and value of information; they are attracted to the world around them - they are inquisitive and active; they are able to select important information from a certain amount of information, as well as process and save; they concentrate their own attention on the most important links in the information chain. The author of the paper determined that the formation of the information subculture of senior preschoolers requires a modern information environment, which provides an understanding of the diversity of the surrounding reality, its connections and interactions
