Abstract

In this article, student shooters (69 people) answer the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire and perform control shooting. The levels of neuroticism and extraversion-introversion and their relationship with shooting results are determined both in the entire group and when divided by category and separately among men and women. It is revealed that the level of extraversion-introversion is not correlated with the shooting result. The level of neuroticism determines the balance of nervous processes and, thus, can influence the shooting result. The level of lying indicates the importance of building trust with shooters.
