Abstract
An expert assessment of the quality of reclamation castings is presented to identify the level of structural reliability. Visual-instrumental and capillary control made it possible to establish technological flaws that caused product defects. The introduction of electronic accompanying information systems with intermediate digital control of casting manufacturing is justified by the inconsistency of the appearance of casting defects. It is proposed to use the concept of product lifecycle management as a basic one in ensuring the quality of various components of technological machines in the strategy of import substitution.
