Abstract

The article raises the question of a modern approach to the design of the architecture of Orthodox churches in our multi-confessional country. A significant place is given to Orthodox Church architecture and the consistent introduction of temples and temple complexes into the structural composition of urban space. According to many experts in Russia, the practice of architectural design and the environmental organization of cities are separate processes. The main task of modern design of architecture of Orthodox churches is to create an architecture that is based on the latest technologies, but remains humane, absolutely not indifferent to the person, to the tradition.
