Abstract
Four kinds of control design schemes for 200MW boiler-turbine unit are presented in this paper and they are (1) Smith-PID control, (2) Stochastic optimal control, (3) Optimal control using extended observor, and (4) The use of Linear Programming method. Analog-digital computer simulations are obtained using each of these control laws for comparison.
