Abstract

The faculty teaching effectiveness is assessed based on the academic performance such as teaching ability, professional competence, student evaluation, interpersonal relationship and personality trait. The opinion of 410 faculties of various private engineering colleges in Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh are been collected for analysis. The study follows descriptive research design. The study follows convenience sampling method in selection of faculty for collecting primary data. The results revealed: *The study found moderate perception levels of organizational politics, Job Satisfaction and Teaching Effectiveness among faculty. *There is significant relationship between teaching effectiveness, organisational politics and Job satisfaction. *The study finds negative relationship of organisational politics with Teaching Effectiveness. *The study finds insignificant negative moderation effect of organisational politics on Job Satisfaction and Teaching Effectiveness. There is insignificant moderation effect of organisational politics. However organisational politics is a significant variable in influencing Teaching effectiveness.
