Abstract

Business analysis is key to understanding the reality and perception of the company's future by applying economic (business) analysis methods. The traditional concept of business analysis is suitable for simpler, structured management problems, so it is necessary to amend it and formulate a modern concept of business analysis that would be suitable for solving modern, complex and unstructured problems. Modern business analysis is an indispensable business function, which forms the core of management support, and in essence, without it there is no business decision-making. In order to define the concepts of a complete business analysis, the theoretical and methodological determinants of the understanding or subject of modern business analysis are crystallized. The contribution of the work is not only a theoretical-methodological determination, but also a practical model of the implementation of business analysis, both as a whole and by individual segments, in modern business, with the aim of the most expedient transformation of the traditional analytical concept into a modern one, which is based on a holistic context.
