Abstract

Business Process Management, viewed from the perspective of Computing (Information Technology - IT) is the basis for successful functioning of any institution. The first step in this context is to define the lifecycle management of business processes, thus providing a holistic view of the problem and the role that the future system should have. Aim: Starting from the premise that the management of interrelated and interdependent business processes basis for successful functioning of the institution, set the main goal of this paper: defining the framework for building a system for the management of business processes in the system to immunize patients within the National Institute of Public Health. Results: In this paper we elaborate the first phase of business process management - the design of business processes. Featured approach to business process modeling through a selection of tried and tested methods and models for inclusion and the fight with the complexity of the system. Discussion: Business processes are essential for understanding the operation of the institution, and they play an important role in the design and implementation of flexible information systems. In order to use a business process as a basis for the development of information systems based on them, it is preferred that they be formally defined. This creates conditions for the development of a software system for management of business processes. The institution can achieve its business objectives in an efficient and effective manner, only if the employee facilities and other resources, such as information systems, operate as a synchronized unit. Business processes are an important concept for achieving effective collaboration. In our practice, there is usually a gap between the organizational aspects of the business and existing information technologies. Narrowing this gap is extremely important in today's dynamic environment, when the institution is to provide quality services to its customers. Conclusion: The application of the proposed method and the models is demonstrated through a functional decomposition of business processes healthcare facilities and detailed specification of business process system to immunize patients. These are the preconditions for the development of other phases of the life cycle management of business processes and defining the architecture BPMS (Business Process Management System), taking into account the specific characteristics of business processes of HO (Health Organization) and existing IT support.
