Abstract

The objective of the research is to propose a theoretical-methodological model with a participatory approach and specific references to evaluate educational policies in educational institutions of theLocal Educational Management Unit, Sánchez Carrión, Huamachuco, 2020. Methodology: Basic type research, descriptive design, with sample of 66 teachers, evaluated through the Educational Management Policy Evaluation questionnaire consisting of 16 items. Results: Most directors do not have knowledge about educational management policies (questions1, 2 and 3), the institution does not have an evaluation model (question 9), goals have been implemented (question 6), most evaluate the achievements (question 10), and evaluate the coverage of the service provided (question 13), that the evaluation serves to improve the management of the EI (question 14), mostly parents participate in the institutional evaluation (questions 15 and 16). Conclusion: The majority of teachers did not present knowledge about the educational management policies in the educational institutions of JEC-UGEL Sánchez Carrión, Huamachuco, 2020.
