Modelo de domo glamping autosostenible e inteligente para el fomento del ecoturismo en Chinácota, Norte de Santander

Abstract

Glamping is the contraction of glamorous camping, a term that became famous in the late 1990s and consists of camping in the freedom of nature with the benefits and comforts of a good hotel. The purpose of this project is to prototype a new model of self-sustainable tourist lodging to take advantage of ecotourism in the municipality of Chinácota. As for the methodology of this work, it is of qualitative approach and has a type of experimental, exploratory and applied research, since it implements the Design Thinking methodology for the development of the prototype and the phases of the project with the purpose of designing a digital and simulated prototype of the glamping dome, as part of the methodological design a review of the state of the art and bibliographic collection of databases was carried out and the information was organized according to the following criteria: components of the structure of a glamping dome and its application for tourism as well as the geographical, environmental and ecological conditions for its best location in terms of self-sustainability, efficiency and comfort. The glamping dome model was designed in Rhinoceros 7, then exported to Sketchup to be imported into the 3D Sun-Path web application, taking latitude and longitude coordinates. The fusion of the knowledge of woodworking or cabinetmaking together with emerging technologies and applied to sustainable businesses in rural areas and the countryside allows to provide viable solutions and opportunities from the scenario of research seedlings.
