Abstract

The results of experimental studies to determine the thermal impact on the facade of a building when a flame is ejected through a window opening are analyzed. The dependence of the change in the shape and power of the external torch on the geometric parameters of the opening and the room of the hearth, the type of fire load and the climatic features of the area has been established. An example of the application of field modeling of the thermal effect of an external torch on the structure of the facade of a building in the event of a glazing failure in a fire seat is given. The main problems of setting a physical problem in the computational environment and ways of solving them during field modeling in the framework of assessing the influence of the type of construction of the interfloor belt on the level of thermal exposure in case of fire are formulated.
