Abstract
In the article the possibility of application of the combined electric drive on the basis of the electromechanical transducer of the alternating current squirrel-cage motors. A comparative analysis of the characteristics of drive mechanisms of different types is given. The main task of the study is to increase the traction force of the drive mechanism at a constant power. The possibility of using an automated design system T-Flex CAD to create a 3D-model of the device is shown. The dependence of the traction characteristics of the drive on the power and speed of the basic asynchronous motor is established. The results of comparison of calculated and experimental characteristics of the designed electric drive are presented.
