Abstract

Bearingless permanent magnet synchronous motor (BPMSM) integrated permanent magnet motor (PMSM) and magnetic bearing (MRM) characteristics. It has no friction, is fast and has the advantages of high precision, long life and so on. It has attracted more and more attention. This article designs a conical bearingless permanent magnet synchronous motor (CBPMSM). Its stator and rotor shape adopt conical structure, which can realize radial and axial suspension operation at the same time. The principle of the motor suspension force is introduced at the beginning. This paper presents the mathematical model of suspension using Maxwell method, and then the correctness of the mathematical model is proved by simulation.
