Abstract

A model of moisture absorption by basalt-plastic reinforcement was developed and experimentally confirmed, taking into account Fickian diffusion, structural relaxation and design features of reinforcement at the initial stage of climatic aging. The analytical solution can be used to approximate the kinetics of moisture sorption of other reinforced polymer composites.
