Abstract

The modeling of cutting fluid (coolant) supply circuits for hot die forging on presses in the computational gasfluid dynamics module is considered. The modeling stages are presented to solve the problem of optimizing coolant supply schemes in order to analyze the uniform distribution of lubricant over the working surfaces of the die and analyze their temperature fields. The order of construction, initial and boundary conditions, goals and calculation results are considered. Keywords computational fluid dynamics, hot die forging, numerical modeling, supply circuit, cutting fluid, nozzle, temperature regime, lubricant, optimization
