Abstract

• Sealant viscoelastic effects are small at room temperature for applied uplift pressures. • There are unique positions for dual sealants minimizing sealant delamination likelihood. • Optimal dual sealant positions reduce maximum energy release rate more than an order of magnitude. • Order of magnitude change in sealant modulus has minimal effect on delamination likelihood.
