Abstract

Combined the Boit’s theory and the classical elastic theory of thin shell, a new model for analyzing the vibrations of a thin fluid-saturated porous rotational shell is proposed and solved by the extended homogeneous capacity precision integration method and the precise element method. The present model is precise and closer to the real materials as it takes the fluid-solid coupling effect into account and doesn’t make any hypothesis for the fluid displacement. At the end of the paper, the accuracy of the model had been verified by experiment and FEM methods.
