Abstract

This paper presents the modeling and simulation of bidirectional half bridge dc-dc converter by using zero voltage switching technique. According to the development of high power converter for renewable energy system, the new topology of power converter is proposed under normal and abnormal operation. This paper presents the operation of high power high frequency converter under the forward- and reverse-operation mode. The operation scheme of converter can be expressed by the high performance of a high power and high frequency converter. The simulation results showed that the operation of power converter can be classified into two mode the forward mode operation, the converter was operated as the boost converter. The input voltage is about 100 Vdc. the output voltage was controlled at 350 Vdc. The reward mode operation, the converter was operated as the buck converter. The input voltage is about 100 Vdc. the output voltage was controlled at 55 Vdc.
