Abstract

The fatigueness due to the long driving by the driver in the passenger vehicle like car is experienced due to the low frequency vibration occurring in the IC engines. It is been mainly occurring in the driver seat and hence to reduce the vibration transferred to the driver through the seat. The car seat has been measured with the amount of vibration magnitude and the analysis of seat structure using the CATIA. The modeling of the seat bush is done by using the 3D printer three different type of car seat bushes is made with the nylon, ABS and polyurethane the material properties like the tensile and hardness are tested and in addition to it the dynamic characteristics of the stiffness and damping properties are studied using the CATIA and the properties are compared.
