Abstract

Concentrating Solar Power (CSP) plants are one of the most promising technologies leading to an eco-friendly energy supply. In this paper, the overall principle of a Liner-Fresnel CSP plant is shown and combined with a steam storage (Ruth's storage). A simplified model of the optical and thermal behavior is developed. In combination with an optimization algorithm, a feedforward control is developed. The functionality is shown on several examples that refer to current and further requirements for the renewable power generation.
