The development of mobility, whether physical or virtual, leads to significant changes. Thus, what is physically close to us may ultimately be foreign to us when, conversely, what is far from us, but attractive and accessible, may appear to us to be ours ... The current breakthrough in electronic commerce confirms this trend and gives rise to new forms of mobility which sometimes involve online merchants and sometimes Internet users. We note that Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) are required to play an increasing role there, the pooling of operations being sought. Of course, these changes have an impact on urban logistics and, more specifically, the service offering in this area. There is in particular a certain emulation among operators of the last mile, for example on the side of La Poste (“Cityssimo” instructions) or Presstalis (Ile-de-France project “LUMD” [Sustainable Mutualized Urban Logistics]) ...
