Abstract

Thymidine appears as the possible inductor of the mitosis in cells already differentiated, or in the process of differentiation, which normally do not enter division. The endopolyploid process, which may be the expression of chromosomal endoreduplication, seems to play an important role inAllium cepa cytodifferentiation.
