Abstract

Abstract The missional church represents a distinct spiritual and theological shift in ecclesiology. It describes a movement that emerged from missiology studies during the late 20th century that wanted to recapture the true nature and essence of the church as representing the reign of God in the world. The Kingdom of God is the unifying theological motif for the missional church, and it creates a unique character, focus, and attitude.
