<h3>1955 AMENDMENTS TO THE UNIVERSAL MILITARY TRAINING AND SERVICE ACT</h3> Mr. Vinson. Mr. Speaker, I call up the conference report on the bill (H. R. 3005) to further amend the Universal Military Training and Service Act by extending the authority to induct certain individuals, and to extend the benefits under the Dependents Assistance Act to July 1, 1959, and ask unanimous consent that the statement of the managers on the part of the House may be read in lieu of the report.
