Abstract

Middle-Upper Devonian miospores from the Parana basin, Brazil : systematics and stratigraphy Fifty nine miospores including six new species were identified during the palynological study of thirty six samples in the borehole RSP-1. Ponta Grossa Formation. Parana basin. Brazil. Their stratigraphie distribution compared with the ardenno-rhenish biozonation allows to give Ponta Grossa Formation a late Eifelian to late Frasnian age. The attention is drawn on the question implied by similar palynofloras observed on so a wide latitudinal range.
