Abstract

The minor hysteresis loops were measured with increasing magnetic field amplitude, H a , step by step and analyzed in connection with the lattice defects such as dislocations in Fe single crystal. We defined pseudo coercive force H c * , susceptibility χ H * at H c * , pseudo hysteresis loss W F * , pseudo remanence B R * , pseudo remanence work W R * , susceptibility χ R * at B R * , and pseudo magnetization B a * at H a in the minor loop. H c * is the magnetic field where the magnetization becomes zero in a minor loop. A simple relation, 2 H c * = H a , was experimentally obtained in a wide H a range. These parameters reflect simple Bloch wall potential on the supposition that Bloch walls receive force from the same potential; the potential is the average one of individual Bloch wall. The initial stage of potential is concluded to be irreversible from the magnetic pseudo properties.
