Abstract

Post-burn wounds contract on healing, leading to deformity of shape & size. Stents are fabricated to prevent wound contracture after plastic surgery to preserve or restore the anatomic form and function of the affected part of the body. This article describes two methods of fabrication of post-burn interdigital stent using conventional & digital workflow and comparison of their fit & accuracy with subjective method & evaluation of fit & comfort with VAS.
