Abstract
The rev iew summaries with the synthesis pyrazolines derivatives via treat ment of 4a -e with 30% HCl produced the pyrazole derivatives 5a-e in good yields. Finally, condensation of 3a-e with either thiosemicarbazide or isonicotinic acid hy- drazide in ethanol containing few drops of acetic acid gave pyrazolines 6a -e or 7a-e, respectively. Also pyrazolo pyrimid ine prepared via methylation of the thio xo g roup in 74a with NaOMe and MeI in d ry MeOH was carried in the usual manner to affo rd compound75.
