Abstract
A high level of technical ability is required of vascular surgeons. Medical students pursuing integrated vascular residency programs have limited surgical skills to demonstrate compared with traditional vascular surgery fellowship candidates. As the number of integrated vascular training programs continues to increase, it will become increasingly important to determine if the performance of basic surgical skills provides any indication of which integrated candidates have innate technical ability.
