Abstract
various antigens. UVB radiation depletes epidermal CD1+, HLA-DR+ Langerhans cells from the skin and inhibits their antigen-presenting cell function. The good results of UVB therapy for HIV-associated eosinophilic folliculitis' suggested to us that phototherapy could be helpful in EPF even if the pruritic folliculitis seen in patients with HIV is different from classic EPF. Because of the clinical response of our patient to UVB, we propose it as an alternative treatment for dapsone-resistant patients. 2. Malanin G, Helander I.
