Abstract

This paper presents a design technique for computational systems based on the concepts of Model, Abstraction, and Simulation. This technique, developed and evaluated especially in Real Time System applications, is particularly useful to design hierarchical multiprocessor microprogrammed systems. A set of tools and facilities for designing and building the system is also shown.
