Abstract

The present work focuses on the development of direct integral approach for the electromagnetic field computation on high frequency domain with immediate application to the problem of microwave ovens cavities. The dyadic Green’s function of the Helmholz vectorial operator is presented and then integral representations as well as boundary integral operators are deduced. The formulation permits thus the computation of the electric field from the obtained values of the tangential components of these vectors on the boundaries of interest. We then elaborate on solution of the problem either by means of a collocation method or by obtaining a weak form of the formulation with a Galerkin type approach.
