Abstract
Ferrite based components are essential and critical elements in microwave systems. The seemingly mundane technology of these components finds widespread application in the form of phase shifters, circulators, magnetostatic wave devices, etc. The article reviews briefly the developments in the field of microwave ferrite devices. The progress, application and current levels of performance are discussed. Achievements in this field particularly in phase shifter development in our country are also highlighted.
