Abstract

Most of the magnetostatic waves (MSW) devices have planar construction: transmitted and received antennas are carried out as a microstrip lines which have been manufactured on a dielectric substrate. Ferrite film is placed in parallel to transducers plane. Such method restricts the opportunities of additional amplitude-frequental characteristics peaks control by means of minimization of the ferrite sample length. Effectiveness of the direct and reverse electromagnetic waves energy transformation in MSW one determines permissible minimally of antennas length and ferrite film width. Decrease of this size in familiar devices can lead to insertion losses increase because of ferrite sample and microstrip lines coupling coefficient is decreased. Decrease of the distance between transmitted and received antennas can lead to out-of-band depression coefficient decline. A requirements to a magnetic systems — one of the nonredundant element of construction are formed by MSW structure dimensions and by kind of MSW choice. Constructions of the magnetic systems for devices with ferrite spheres are slightly fit for planar magnetostatic surface wave (MSSW) and backward volume waves (MSBW). The planar construction of MSW devices is a not unique. The volume-integrated approach for frequental-selected MSW-devices is proposed in this paper.
