Abstract

The paper discusses techniques for determining the complex conductivities of thin films of high-Tc superconductors at microwave frequencies. Preliminary results suggest that measured microwave conductivities are sensitive to defects extended normal to the microwave current, which also affect the normal conductivity and Jc.
