Abstract

We present a cylindrical electromagnetic cloak composed of identical ceramic dielectric resonators for operation in the microwave range. The performance of the cloak has been verified by full-wave simulations of the true multi-resonator cloak structure and by the measurements of the integral transmission through the fabricated prototype. It is demonstrated that due to inter-resonator coupling the resonance mode of the resonators comprising the cloak is split and the cloaking effect could be only observed at specific frequencies within the resonance band.
