Abstract

The design of a cylindrical transmission cloak that provides low scattering cross width (SCW) at microwave frequencies is proposed. The cloak is composed of concentric layers of identical dielectric resonators (DRs), while different air fractions are employed to enable the required spatial dispersion of the effective permeability. The cloak performance has been investigated by using full-wave simulations of the true multi-resonator cloak structure. The simulations confirmed the existence of the cloaking band, in which the SCW of the cloaked target is lower than that of the bare target.
