Abstract
A successful replantation of completely avulsed scalp was achieved by microvascular anastomosis of the superficial temporal artery and two accompanying veins without vein graft For nine months follow-up, the results in hair growth is slower than intact scalp, the esthetics is excellent. Because of serious consequences after scalp loss and there is no similar tissue can replace hair-bearing skin well, the completely avulsed scalp must be replanted whenever possible. Prophylaxis of shock from profuse bleeding is necessary during surgery.
