Microtectonique et anisotropie de susceptibilite magnetique du massif tonalitique des riesenferner—vedrette di ries (frontiere italo-autrichienne)

Abstract

Microtectonic and magnetic structural studies conducted on the intrusive Riesenferner Massif (Vedrette di Ries) reveal a well-defined lineation which is not visible on the field. This lineation could be related to Late Alpine deformations. These studies also reveal that later on this massif again underwent compression, the direction of which is nearly perpendicular to the direction of the Late Alpine compression.
