Abstract

Mossbauer spectroscopy has been used to measure changes associated with structural relaxation in the glass Pd40Ni40P20. When taken with data from X-ray diffraction, the results characterize the differences between irreversible and reversible relaxation, and show that the latter involves at least two distinct processes.
