Abstract

The coherent collective dynamics of liquid Gallium for the small wave vector range (3.25 nm−1 ≤ k ≤ 12.5 nm−1) at 315 K which is close to its melting point have been studied using modified microscopic theory. The computed results for the energy dependent spectra for the dynamical structure factor of the liquid Gallium sample show the variation quite close to the corresponding accurate experimental values obtained using coherent inelastic X-ray scattering. The characteristics of simple liquid metals are exhibited in the different graphs plotted.
