Abstract

An interactive system based on the Intel 8080 microprocessor has been developed to control the scanning and image-plane digitizing of bubble chamber photographs. A conversational program written in the high level language, PL/M, guides the scanner through the process while recording the required data and making consistency checks. Use of the system with film from the FNAL 15 ft bubble chamber is described.
