Abstract
“The world is on the path to climate chaos” and the Stern Review sets out why action to combat it needs to start now. Along side global and European tiered approaches to reducing carbon emissions, Britain is focusing, at a national level, on microgeneration as one way of reducing its carbon emissions. This article analyses some of the main legislative, regulatory and policy measures in place to promote microgeneration and also comments on the likely constraints to it.
