Abstract
Findings from a series of studies indicated that educators perceived that computers will have a strong impact on curriculum and classroom instruction. Unfortunately, educators also expressed reluctance to incorporate educational change in their classrooms. Two major issues for teacher educators and teacher education programs are: (1) how best to prepare teachers to teach and use appropriate computer technology that requires new and different skills and (2) to develop quality teacher preparation programs.
