Abstract
We have demonstrated, for the first time, a much simpler planar organic microcavity consisting of a single layer of organic semiconductor emitting material sandwiched by metallic mirrors. The emission of red, yellow and green light from these identical luminescent materials was obtained by changing the length of the cavity, and its microcavity effects were studied.
